starling.load_ensemble

load_ensemble(filename, ignore_structures=False)[source]

Function to read in a STARLING ensemble from a file and return the STARLING ensemble object.

Parameters:

filename (str) – The filename to read the ensemble from (should be a .starling file generated by STARLING)
ignore_structures (bool) – If set to True, the function will discard structures that are part of the .starling file. This can be useful if you don’t need the structures as it slows loading to parse.
